Richard Whadcock is a contemporary landscape painter and is represented by the Northcote Gallery where he shows regularly in their Chelsea gallery, London. His studio is based at 'Phoenix Brighton' artists studios. Whadcock is now working towards a series of larger oil paintings of the South Downs for 2012.
His Northcote Gallery exhibition continues through February featuring drawings for the first time, smaller oils on paper and new oils on aluminium. These continue to draw upon the changing landscape around the Ditchling, Pycombe and Clyton areas of the South Downs.
